DDX was born in 2011.  Its vision is to be an information exchange for the research and development of transdisciplinary approaches to both overcome as well as learn from the challenges that we face as a species, and as a planet.

As the complexity of these challenges becomes more evident, and the complexity of our technological answers grows and provides more amazing triumphs every day, we join the tribe of grateful ones for the dedication of the individuals, communities, and organizations that are making this possible.

We also belong to the growing number of people who want to understand the world in its full magnitude of expression.  This includes its problems, as from a holistic and unifying perspective, solutions may then be found that are more sustainable, and bring more inclusion, prosperity, happiness, and human community spirit to everyone.

Modern science, timeless spiritual beliefs, aboriginal cosmologies, and the everyday reality of politics and economics can ALL contribute to finding new approaches to our ecological challenges.  They must learn from one another.  Social technologies, out-of-the-box economic approaches, complex system thinking, and spiritual directions can ALL help in approaching the issues of armed conflicts and poverty.  They must learn from one another.  Musicians, filmmakers, performers, and painters can teach the rest of us how to reach the public with our messages and insights.  We ALL can learn from one another.

We invite individuals, communities, professional groups, institutions, scientists, artists, politicians, and the business world to join us with publications that bring new ideas and perspectives to the problems of our times.  We want to attract authors in the fields of science, business, art, religion, and politics who are interested in sharing their knowledge of new, inclusive, and sustainable designs for our future, so we can connect them to readers that share their passion and want to learn from them.
